Getting there: Plugging "Tolmie Peak Trailhead" into Google Maps will take you right from Seattle Pacific University to the trailhead signage for Tolmie Peak Lookout trail. The trailhead is approximately 2 hours away from campus (73.5 miles). After passing through Carbonad, you will be looking for Mowich Lake Road. Turn right onto Mowich Lake Road and follow it about 17 miles to its end.The trailhead is on the left side of the road, near Mowich Lake. Check road conditions before you leave if you are hiking in the Fall or Spring. This trail is largely inaccessible during the Winter as Mowich Lake Road closes in October.

Trailhead: The trailhead is on the left side of the road before you reach the parking lot for Spray Park Trail and the walk-in campground for Mowich Lake. You do not pass through a ranger station to attain a daily national park pass, so be prepared with one prior to hitting the road. There are bathrooms near the Mowich Lake campground.

On the trail: Find the trailhead for Tolmie Peak Lookout and follow the signage that leads you alongside Mowich Lake before beginning your steady incline to Eunice Lake. Eunice Lake offers spacious meadows near the water that makes it a great location for a snack or water break. After Eunice Lake, you have a steep mile to get to the top!
